Festival Of The Arts # 5

Today I noticed that we had to be VERY SERIOUS!!! because this is the second to last week we are practicing our lion king play.  So everyone was actually focused and then when we practiced all together we were actually getting better and better.  The costumes made some people actually looked like animals because they are great actors.  We all did it step by step took our time and practice even more.  I loved the zebras that were my favorite animal.  There was one zebra that was really acting like a real zebra.  It was a little bit funny trying to act like animals but on that day we set our play it has to be serious.  Hopefully tomorrow we will get it perfect to show everyone we have been working hard.

Festival Of The Arts #4

On Monday it was kind of the same thing as last time but except our exercise warmup was obviously quite different but also not my type.  At least I tried my best and had fun like how I always do in the music room.  Also, I am still meeting new people that I have never talked before which is quite exciting I know that some year eights can be super duper nice to one another.  I am a person that does the barb chorus for the lion king theme (play) which is very exciting but I did get stuck until a year eight helped me so it was great.

Festival Of The Arts #3

On Monday we all actually got to do our parts of the play that we are doing.  I looked at the Rc site and had lots of information about who we will be and what we do.  I obviously got stuck and confused about what time we come in and where I stand.  Luckily the year eights helped me where to stand and when to fly out.  I sort of felt embarrassed that I did not know what to do but miss: Richardson said there is nothing to be ashamed of.  After she said that I felt quite better but still listen carefully just in case I got something wrong.  It also felt quite better to practice outside to get fresh air and to have much bigger and better space outside.  Hopefully next time everyone will get better and better at every stage we do.

 

Festival Of The Arts #2

On Monday we all got into dancing with great skills from our music teacher Katie Beer.  I had lots of fun that time especially seeing other people having fun too.  I absolutely had an awesome time practicing the lyrics for all of the songs in the lion king.  Hopefully next time everyone will participate in singing and dancing.  Anyways It was amazing!!!

Festival Of The Arts

On Thursday the 16th of November 2017.  I have been in the music room with miss Clark, Mrs. Beer, Mr.s Richardson and with all the other year seven and eight children who picked to go to the music room to do musical performances on stage.  I'm really sure that everyone had a great time dancing, singing and playing musical games to get us warmed up.  We even had time to start practicing some parts that people signed up for.  I think we have an amazing theme (the lion king) which is one of the best movies I have ever watched in my life.  I always feel so excited as soon as I walk through the music room because something lets me know that I am going to have fun.

This is one great example of what we might be doing on stage.

Science With Stock

At the start of term three my class and I have been learning how to be safe in science before we could get our hands on fire.  After we did that we could get our hands on flames.  Here are two photos of me getting ready.

I was so nervous of getting my hands on fire but I took a deep breath and got my hands on flames without catching anything else on fire except for my hands.

IT WAS REALLY FUN, EXCITING AND SURPRISING.
