All of those events were really funtastic!!! but my favorite event was in Mega Air.  So a big thanks to all of those events and thanks to my teachers and for the adults who helped organizing it.

Happy and healthy lunch

Today we have been making shared lunch for our class, but it wasn't just random foods chocolates and juice it was healthy foods and healthy smoothies.  We thank those kind parents by helping us with the cooking.  A big massive thank you to Mr: T who came up with that brilliant idea.  Here are some pictures of some things that we made...

Nutrition learning

This term we have bee learning about health and nutrition.  What we were learning about is good stuff to have and bad stuff to eat or drink. I will give you some good Nutrition to have like protein, Fiber, Fruit and vegetables.  Now the bad things that we should not have like Sugar, Trans - saturated fats  so these are some thing that we should not have an things that we should have.

Going to Mega air

Going to Mega air

During the holidays I woke up and saw my family talking about something. So I sprinted and jumped into their conversation.  The thing that they were talking about was to go somewhere in the holidays that is more exciting then just going to the beach.  So we did choose something that is more surprising than going to the beach.

My mums choice was to go to Mega air, but what we were meant to do was for all of us to pick Mega air or choose something else.  We all haven’t been to Mega air before but we know what it is about so we all picked Mega air.  We were so excited we were jumping up and down.

My dad rushed, got the keys, and ran to the car so he can turn it on.  My mum got the money to pay for My family and I.  After that my family and I heard the car on and ran to the car.  Me and my older brother Richie wanted to sit in the front because we both wanted to be the first one in Mega air as soon as we get there.

We drove out of our driveway and headed straight to Mega air. Until I saw a big, massive house outside that said Mega air on top of that big house.  We parked in front of Mega air.  Then when we went inside that big house my mum paid at the reception so we can play on the trampolines.  After my mum paid, we went inside the waiting room until the leader comes.  

When the leader came that own’s Mega air we had to watch a video that shows us what to do and what, not to do.  Finally the video finished and it felt like it was time to shine, so we did.  Everyone did.  Some people could do back flips, front flips and all kinds of stuff that I haven't seen before.  

Conclusion

After that, my family’s time was over.  I felt so surprised as soon as I went inside Mega air.  That was probably the funnest thing i've been too.  I was so puffed after all of that jumping.  We went in the car and drove home to wait for another plan…

Disconnected Dance Crew Film Festival

This term was sandpit term,  and for sandpit term my class and I has been making really good movies.  We all had been put into groups to make our cool movies.  My grou  We first made a slide which is to help us where are we filming and what are we doing there.  After we made a slide we start doing our invitation filming and our poster's.  We were all so lucky enough to finish in time, so our parents could see our movies.  We had so much fun and please comment below.

My Filming Group

 
                            
This term we have been making our movies in groups.  We also have been doing a movie poster about a music video to show you more information about our movie making.  My group has decided to get this finished before the 22nd of September 2016 because that's the time we are showing it.  So be on a lookout for some posters so you can watch our awesome movie.  The hardest thing to do is to get the timing right for the music and the pictures.  I hope you like it.

This week my reading group and another reading group has to combine one activity and do it together.  Which is called The Bledisloe cup.  So we have to write facts about the Bledisloe cup.  Trisha and I worked together as a team to get these facts all done before the bell rings for morning tea and lunch.  Hope you like this slide show and Thanks for watching.

My space chimp story

The Visit In Space And On                   Earth

3,  2,  1 whooosh!! it was 1961 in America inside a space rocket.  My space rocket was as skinny as a pencil.  When my rocket started to take off into space I was shaking so hard like there was thunder under my rocket ship.  My face brushed back like a really strong hair dryer washing me back,   and after that I saw a camera,  and I knew my caregiver was watching me through the camera at me. Coco the space chimp.

I didn’t know what to say to my caregiver in the camera in front of me,  I was only 12 years old until I left my caregiver to discover new stars for 65 years so there is enough time to look at new stars and to experience what is it like in space full of stars.

In the past years I tried to talk to my caregiver in the camera in front of me, I just really wanted to speak to him so I tried everything to turn the camera on but I was to late. Well I was in space for 65 years I was so tired I fell straight into sleeping.  65 years past,  well my breathing was as slow as if I were going to die.  Until a patch of light came shining at my face.

I was trying to open my eyes so I can see what is happening outside my space rocket,  so I did.  I saw the greatest glory of my life,  my home, my beautiful home.  I started to come to my rough landing on earth with my big parachute floating on the top of my rocket.  Until I stopped with complete silence on the ground.  “I’m alive? I’m alive!.”

My face turned red as I was absolutely disappointed and depressed because my home is a disaster. “Hello!”  My voice echoed thru the empty city.  I looked around with a confused face.   “Is anyone here? Silence is all I could hear.  I was thinking in my head Did I hear something?. Someone replied.  

“Ooohhh Ahhh,”  that means hello in chimp language,  “hello young fellow.  

Ummm “hello wait who are you”, I said to that mysterious chimp.   “I am Corex who are you and what are you doing on my Victory land” the chimp said.  “Victory land?” I thought to myself.  I am here to get my old life back and see my family again.  “Wait a minute you look exactly like that chimp on a man’s shirt”.

Oh interesting…

Hold on,  “have you seen a man wearing a blue t-shirt with kind of like a ginger hear?.” “yes I’m pretty sure I have seen a person like that.”  I sprinted right up to Corex with my lengthy long legs and said “where is he? where is he?!!” “ “oh so you do know that man.  “Of course I do he’s my trainer” I said.  

“Oh no!” I said,  I blocked my mouth with my long fingered hands are you… “Yes I am Corex the leader of the chimps but I’m not just any ordinary leader I’m the leader of the devil hungry chimps”.  Suddenly Corex told me a  little secret in my little ear “I killed your trainer”. “noooooo!!!” I screamed with tears of sadness dripping out of my big brown eyes.  Until I started to change my whole body started to change and look like one of Corex’s worst,  ugliest,  devil,  hungry chimp.  “You can’t get away with this Corex” I said.  To late I vanished into chimp horror world.

My division problem

Today I have been working on my division problems by using other strategies including my times tables  to figure out my answer.  I also have been working on stage 6 part 1 witch means Every division problem I have to solve,  I will have to use my times tables to figure out my answer.  Using your times tables to figure out division problems is much more easier than using skip counting,  repeated addition and using counters.

Space chimp

This is my story about a space chimp going into space for 65 years.  Before he went to space for 65 years the space chimp was on his home his beautiful home until he left his beautiful home to go into space.  In the past years the space chimp was in his rocket ship with his face looking all tired and exhausting.  The space chimp has now come to an ending when he lands back on earth until he looks around but suddenly earth is all destroyed.  Wait it is not earth it's my home.  Here is my plan for my story.                          

My Adaptation Clay Model.

 Ako Ngatahi has been looking at animal adaptations and how they help themselves to survive in the wild.  For my animal adaptation I chose the chameleons eyes.  After I chose the chameleons eyes I had to make a clay model and we had to make sure everyone knows what it is.  So here are some pictures of my clay model that I made about the chameleons eye.

The lucky lunch break

It was a beautiful day in December walking with my helpful herd across a beautiful lake in Africa.  It has brown and dry grass,  it is also boiling hot over here in Africa,  that is why we are here to get a drink from the lake.  I am so lucky to have a dad that is the leader of the helpful herd Because he always lets me do things first.  So what i’m saying is that my dad let me drink the water from the lake first.  There is only one problem,  whenever I ask my dad to come here another day by myself my dad always says no! I wonder why?.  It was another beautiful day in the wild trying to figure out why does my dad says no! when ever I ask if I could come to this place on my own.  I asked my dad again,  but this time it was my last time asking this question.  I was surprised when my father told me the answer of my question,  and the answer of my question was that he said there might be another animal around here,  but I didn’t believe that because it was all quiet when we all got a drink from the lake.  Until I smelled something suspicious in the corner of the field.  I could feel the ground shaking like there was thunder underneath the ground and tasted the danger coming towards us.  Until I saw something gold no something brown no wait ‘it’s a lion!’ I screamed.  I could hear my dad warning the whole herd move it,  lions! lions! we ran as fast as we could but since i’m little I am slower than everyone in the herd I tried to call my dad but he is too busy running from the ferocious lions.  I was sweating so hard but unfortunately I stopped sweating because I felt Like I got scratched on my back in the river after that they dragged me out of the lake with the lion holding on to me,  I was getting pulled by a crocodile and a three lions I felt like I was a rope with animals using me to play tiger war,  it does pretty hurts when I get pulled by scary animals but you know what,  I think the lions won.  That  actually was boring when the lions won,  when I got pulled by the lions the lions were getting ready for lunch I was really shocked that time because my family came for me I was so happy to have a family.  I felt surprised when I saw and felt joy and felt so lucky because I could of lost my life that time.  So next time I go somewhere if I got one life I have to live it.

Buffalo's battle with the lions  

	The herd of buffalos have appeared in the lions home near the lake.
	The frightening lions are resting in the brown grass.
	Oh no the furious lions see the scrumptious buffalos so they start to chase them.
	The big buffalos start to run away because the lions are chasing them,  but instead of going for the big buffaloes the lions went for the baby calf.
	The lions are fighting with a crocodile for its food,  the lions are so annoyed because the lions got the delicious buffaloes.
	The buffalos come to save their baby calf because they know their baby calf was missing from their family.
	They start charging with the lions for their baby.
	The baby calf is struggling to come out.

Diet: Carnivore eats meat.

Head: cat. Cats eyes are amazing because at night cats can see thru the night.

Body: Eagle.  

The Leapeglat wings can fly up to 33,000 feet.

Legs: Eagle.  

The legs of the Leapeglat can hold and grab onto things that people can hold.

Tail: Jaguar.  

The tail of the Leapeglat wiggles around because it might feel something coming..

Facts:

They have excellent senses of smell and hearing.  By rotating their ears, cats can quickly find what they are looking for.  Their whiskers are sensitive to touch.  Cats purr because they are sad or mad.  Cats can come up to 2 to 9 kg (4 to 20 lb), sometimes heavier.
